Oklahoma football released its full depth chart for this Saturday's game against Louisiana Tech. One of the most notable decisions is that former starting quarterback Blake Bell was named the team's starting tight end over former four-star recruit Taylor McNamara.

That is the only place that Bell shows up on the depth chart. On Friday, a report came out that Bell was getting reps in practice as a quarterback with the second team offense. The report stated that, with Texas Tech transfer Baker Mayfield still sorting out his eligibility status and redshirt freshman Cody Thomas injured, Bell would be an emergency option should something happen to starter Trevor Knight. However, the depth chart lists Knight as the starter, with Thomas as his backup and true freshman Justice Hansen as the team's third-string QB.

Whether or not Bell will get snaps at QB remains to be seen. However, we do know that he will know that he's going to get serious playing time against Louisiana Tech on Aug. 30 as a tight end.
