Photos: Oklahoma Presents Sterling Sheperd With Special Gift On Senior Day

Tonight, No. 7 Oklahoma is hosting No. 18 TCU in Norman. It's not only another chance for the Sooners to keep their Big 12 title and College Football Playoff hopes alive. It's also Senior Night.

Wide receiver Sterling Shepard is taking the field at home tonight for the last time at Oklahoma. Before the game, Shepard was honored alongside his family, and the occasion presented an incredibly poignant moment.

See, Shepard's father Derrick was a wide receiver for the Sooners in the 1980s, and later on became a graduate assistant at his alma mater. Tragically, he lost his life to a heart attack in 1999. He was only 35 years old.

Tonight, the elder Shepard's former Sooner teammate, linebacker Brian Bosworth, presented his son with an autographed photo of OU's 1985 National Championship team, of which his father was a member.

If that doesn't give you chills to see, we don't know what will. Just a tremendous moment.
