Ever since Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Kyler Murray announced that he would be entering his name into the NFL draft pool, fans and pundits alike have waited eagerly to see if he would make a firm decision to commit to the NFL, or take up the Oakland A's on their offer and play in Major League Baseball.

Murray gave an update on his potential decision ahead of Super Bowl Sunday.

Speaking to the NFL Network, Murray said that he will make a decision soon as to which sport he will pursue, and for now is just working out and enjoying the Super Bowl festivities.

“Right now, I’m just working out, happy at the Super Bowl," Murray said.

Murray won the Heisman Trophy this past year after leading the Sooners to a Big 12 title and the College Football Playoff.

Despite having an offer already on the table from the Oakland A's, Murray announced at the end of the season that he would be entering his name into the NFL draft pool.

Many mock drafts project Murray as a first round pick. Tankathon's Mock Draft currently has him going No. 7 overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Of course, there is always the possibility that he could try his hand at both.

While a litany of players have been drafted by Major League Baseball only to snub the diamond for the gridiron and vice-versa, Deion Sanders and fellow Heisman Trophy winner Bo Jackson famously alternated between the two sports.
