On Thursday night, the New York Giants faced off against the Cincinnati Bengals in the third preseason contest for both teams.

While several starters received rest, the main offenses for both clubs were on the field to start the game.

However, most of the success on offense came when the second teams came in. No. 6 overall pick Daniel Jones left the game after completing 9-of-11 passes for 141 yards and nearly had a touchdown in the process.

He's not the only rookie showing out tonight.

Former Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson saw the field in the second half and immediately started dominating the Giants defense.

While he's only racked up 11 yards on five carries, Anderson showed he is a threat in the passing game as well.

So far, the former Sooners star has 51 receiving yards on four receptions, including this subtle pass he took for extra yardage.

Anderson was arguably one of the most talented running backs in college football last season, but injuries derailed his 2018 campaign.

After a breakout season in 2017, Anderson suffered a torn ACL in the second game of the season in 2018.

Regardless of the injury, the Bengals took a shot on the talented running back and he's showing the team made the right choice.
