Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State is one of the biggest rivalries in sports, but Samaje Perine showed some serious class on Saturday.
Oklahoma and Oklahoma State do not like each other. Whenever the Cowboys and Sooners meet up, love isn't lost, making this classy move by Oklahoma running back Samaje Perine a must watch.
With Oklahoma leading, 38-20, with less than one minute remaining, Perine found a hole and could have walked into the end zone, instead he elected to take a knee at the one-yard line.
You don't see that everyday.
Even to have the mindset to pull up short and take a knee instead of scoring on your bitter rival is impressive.
Perine has been receiving plenty of love on Twitter for his move:
Perine ended the day with 239 rushing yards and one touchdown on 37 carries. Baker Mayfield had a very strong day as well for the Sooners with three touchdowns and 288 yards through the air.
