Baker Mayfield's Senior Bowl arrival has been delayed. Here's the latest.

Oklahoma's star quarterback was scheduled to arrive in Mobile, Ala. on Sunday. However, Mayfield wasn't able to make it on time.

Senior Bowl executive Phil Savage informed reporters on Monday that Mayfield was dealing with a personal matter. He was back home in Austin, Texas.

Mayfield, the 2017 Heisman Trophy winner, is scheduled to arrive in Mobile this afternoon. He should be at the North Team's practice.

Mayfield's NFL Draft stock

Mayfield is likely in legitimate consideration to be taken in the first-round. A couple of NFL teams are believed to have serious interest in the Oklahoma QB.

The Denver Broncos reportedly requested to work with Mayfield at the Senior Bowl this week. The New Orleans Saints are thought to have interest, too.

"Have heard for about a month now that Saints coach Sean Payton is squarely in the camp of Baker Mayfield believers. That’s not going away," reports NFL insider Charles Robinson.

Mayfield had commented on an Instagram post, appearing to say he wants to get drafted by the Miami Dolphins. He's since addressed that.

"I commented about playing for Miami because I was talking to a former Sooner in Kenny Stills. Everybody can relax, I will play anywhere that gives me a chance. I'm not picky, I will go anywhere and strive to uplift a franchise and win ball games," he wrote on Twitter.
