There is bad weather in Norman, Oklahoma, which will make tonight's Oklahoma-Ohio State game delayed by more than an hour.
Originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET, Oklahoma just announced that the game will now kick off approximately 9 p.m. ET (8 p.m CT).
ESPN's Brett McMurphy is reporting a 9:10 p.m. ET start time. Looks like this one will be ending after midnight on the East Coast and close to it out in Oklahoma.
Better safe than sorry if there's any danger to fans or athletes. FOX is still scheduled to broadcast the game.
We'll keep you posted with any more updates on the status of this pivotal contest. Ohio State needs a win to put a huge notch on its belt before conference play. Also, if Ole Miss outlasts Alabama, and OSU wins, the Buckeyes could grab some No. 1 votes in the polls.
Oklahoma, meanwhile is 1-1, and has to win out to have a chance to make the College Football Playoff. The Sooners may be more desperate but the stakes are high for both teams.
