No. 2 Oklahoma leads No. 1 Kansas 44-40 at halftime in Lawrence, thanks to a 12-0 to close out the first half. The Sooners scored their final three points when star guard Buddy Hield hit three of four free throws with five seconds remaining.
Hield had an extra pair of free throws because Kansas head coach Bill Self picked up a technical foul after Kansas guard Frank Mason was called for a VERY questionable foul on a shot attempt by Hield.

Self was right near the official who made the call as he blew the whistle. He was unhappy.
Looks like Self had a point to his argument. That certainly didn't seem like much, if any, contact on Mason.
Can the Jayhawks shake off the way the first half ended and maintain their hold on the top spot in the polls? We'll see.
