Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray declared for the NFL Draft last week, further indicating that he wants to try his hand at football rather than pursue baseball with the Oakland Athletics.
Today, Murray is getting in some throwing reps with a pretty good NFL wide receiver. He's working out with Antonio Brown.
Brown posted video of himself, Murray and Oklahoma wide receiver Marquise Brown getting a workout in at Arizona.
The connection between Murray and Arizona is pretty obvious. He was recruited to Texas A&M by then-Aggie head coach and current Arizona head coach Kevin Sumlin.
That is a pretty nice dime there by Murray. You can partially see why he is such an intriguing prospect for teams.
There's a good chance Murray will be a first round pick in April's draft. Right now, ESPN's Mel Kiper has him as the second quarterback off the board in his mock draft, going 13th to the Miami Dolphins.
Considering the ongoing issue between Brown and the Steelers, he might be looking for a new home this offseason. Pittsburgh could be left with no other option than to trade its mercurial star.
Wouldn't it be something if Brown and Murray ended up on the same squad?
