Video: VCU Player Apparently Trash-Talked Oklahoma's Buddy Hield

Buddy Hield discusses VCU trash talk with the media.

This goes without saying, but it's not really a good idea to trash talk Oklahoma star Buddy Hield. One of VCU's players found out the hard way.

Hield, one of the most prolific scorers in the nation, told reporters after Sunday's game against the Rams that one player - he thinks No. 5 - talked a little trash during the first half of the contest. Hield, held in check early on, then exploded for 36 points on 11-of-20 shooting, leading OU to an 85-81 victory. Yikes.

No. 5, for the record, is junior Doug Brooks. Brooks finished the game with six points, two rebounds and one assist. He also fouled out.
