Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is joining in the Sports Illustrated bashing. Bryant, who starred for the Oklahoma State Cowboys from 2007-2009 before being disqualified by the NCAA for his relationship with Deion Sanders, took to Twitter this afternoon to refute SI.com's scathing report on players being paid in Stillwater. Bryant has since deleted the tweet, but it was captured and retweeted by hundreds of users beforehand. Here it is, via KFOR's Nate Feken.
Bryant has a point, considering he was widely considered the best wide receiver in college football before his issues with the NCAA - if anyone on the OSU roster deserved to be paid, it was Bryant. Is he telling the truth or protecting his alma mater?
