It was a mixed season in Stillwater for Mike Gundy’s Oklahoma State Cowboys, but the team finished the season on a high note, upsetting Oklahoma in a crazy Bedlam game, and then beating Washington in the Cactus Bowl. Freshman Mason Rudolph took over as quarterback for the final three games of the season, and impressed enough that Mike Gundy has announced that he will be the starter heading into the spring.
What happens when you beat OU in Norman RT @jjhelsley: Mile Gundy says Mason Rudolph is the Cowboys QB entering spring. THE quarterback.

Rudolph was 49-for-86 for 853 yards and six touchdowns, with four interceptions, this season. If he wins the job, he displaces J.W. Walsh, who started much of 2012 and 2013 but missed all but two games in 2014 to injury, and Daxx Garman, who was the starter for most of this season.
