Oklahoma State's Most-Likely Bowl Game Heading Into The Final Weekend

The Oklahoma State Cowboys still have one game left – and it’s a big one – but let’s take a look at which bowl game the team is currently slotted for by most analysts.

Oklahoma State, which is 9-2 entering this Saturday’s Bedlam showdown with Oklahoma, has a chance to win the Big 12 with a victory. That being said, given the current College Football Playoff rankings, it’s hard to see either the Sooners or the Cowboys sneaking into the field of four teams.

If Oklahoma State wins the Big 12, it heads to the Sugar Bowl. However, the Cowboys are the underdogs in Norman this weekend, and most prognosticators see them ending up in the Russell Athletic Bowl.

According to CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm, the best projection right now is that Oklahoma State would take on Virginia Tech. The Sporting News has the Cowboys taking on North Carolina.

The Russell Athletic Bowl is set for Orlando on Dec. 28.
