Former Oklahoma State quarterback Wes Lunt, who decided after one year in Stillwater that his time was up, will be transferring to Illinois. Zach Kerker of Channel1450.com was the first to report the news.
Lunt had been considering Louisville and Notre Dame as well before making his decision to play for the Illini.
Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy had been under some fire for blocking Lunt's transfer to 37 different schools. The quarterback entered last season as the Cowboys' starter, but injuries and turnover issued eventually led to him moving down the depth chart.
