One of college football’s undefeateds is in trouble.
TCU has looked every part the College Football Playoff contender this season, notching quality wins over Arkansas, Oklahoma State, West Virginia and Kansas State to start the campaign with a 7-0 record. But the Horned Frogs are in serious trouble against Iowa State halfway through Saturday’s contest.
Through the first two quarters, Iowa State’s Kyle Kempt is 15-of-23 for 166 yards and two touchdowns – helping lead the Cyclones to a 14-0 advantage. Kenny Hill, in contrast, is just 6-of-13 for 62 yards.
Iowa State could be emerging as a Big 12 contender in the process.

TCU will have 30 more minutes to turn things around. Their College Football Playoff hopes likely depend on it.
