In 2014, both TCU and Baylor finished with 8-1 records in the Big 12, splitting the league championship. And according to ESPN's Football Power Index, the two schools are heavy favorites to contend for the conference crown again. In fact, Baylor has a 37.4% chance to prevail, while TCU has a 36.9% shot.
Texas incoming freshman John Burt doesn't seem to believe the hype though, and he thinks that his Longhorns are going to factor into the conversation. Upon seeing ESPN's rankings, which list Texas at 2.1% odds to win, Burt took to Twitter to make a statement.
