Four-star offensive tackle JP Urquidez was set to enroll at Baylor until scandal cost head coach Art Briles his job last month. Urquidez announced that he would not enroll at the school, and a few weeks after his father called out the Bears program for not releasing him from his Letter of Intent, Urquidez has a new school. The talented tackle announced on Twitter that he has signed with Texas.

Urquidez is ranked No. 22 among all tackles in the class of 2016.
We’re very glad cooler heads prevailed, and those in control at Baylor allowed Urquidez and the other Bears signees to pursue other opportunities.
