Another member of the Texas Longhorns appears to have made a decision on whether he’ll opt for the NFL.
On Thursday, veteran safety Brandon Jones announced on Twitter that he would be returning for his senior year with the Longhorns.
“And the show goes on . . .” he wrote in a post that also included a highlight video from his time at Texas.
The message “Brandon Jones Back For 2019” flashed at the end of the video.
In 2018, Jones had one of his best years with 70 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, an interception, and two fumble recoveries.
Against TCU, Jones had 10 tackles and a fumble recovery.
In three seasons with the Longhorns, Jones has appeared in 32 games, making 146 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, three passes defended, two fumble recoveries, an interception, and a forced fumble.
And the show goes on . . .
