Charlie Strong Says 5 Losses "Will Never Happen In This Program Again"

When Charlie Strong was hired this past offseason, most Texas fans (reluctantly) realized they'd need to be patient with a new regime coming into Austin. While the 2014 campaign didn't get off to a great start, the Longhorns have rebounded, winning four of their last five games to become bowl eligible despite an extremely difficult schedule. Monday, at his weekly press conference, Strong made it clear that regardless, posting five losses is not acceptable. He said that it will never happen again at the program.

Strong also denied any interest in the Florida job and commented on potentially meeting Texas A&M in a bowl game, saying "if it works out, it works out."

It'll be interesting to see how much progress Strong really does make in year two.
