Jalen Preston is set to become a Texas A&M Aggie, but he still wants to check out what the Texas Longhorns have to offer.

Jalen Preston is a four-star wide receiver from Manvel, TX. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 10 player in the Lone Star State.

Preston is the only Texas recruit in the top 14 in the state committed anywhere other than Texas. The Longhorns have picked up 10 of those guys.

He is ranked No. 90 in the nation. He's also the No. 18 wide receiver in the class of 2018.

Preston committed to the Aggies back in July. A&M beat out five other programs that landed in his June top six.

The rest of that group included LSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, and Texas. Now, the Longhorns have a chance to get back in it.

Preston has two official visits set up for the next two weekends. First, he will head to College Station to see what Jimbo Fisher has going with the Aggies, to whom he remains committed.

The following weekend, he heads to Austin to check out Texas. From 247Sports:

Four-star Manvel wide receiver Jalen Preston informed Horns247 that he would be making an official visit to UT on Feb. 2.

Preston has been committed to Texas A&M since the summer, but he is still exploring some of his other options.

Obviously there is a big gap between a visit and a flip. However, Preston did commit to Kevin Sumlin, and not Fisher.

Tom Herman has also been crushing it with this recruiting class, in-state and overall. Texas has the No. 3 class in the country, while Texas A&M is down at No. 33 overall.
