Four-star wide receiver Javian Hester has been eyeing a handful of college programs for nearly six months. After getting a chance to look over his list, it appears Hester is ready to make his decision.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Hester revealed that he'll be announcing his commitment next week. He'll make it official at the Nathan E. Harris Field House on September 5.

247Sports has Hester as the No. 233 overall prospect in the country. He is the No. 40 wide receiver in the nation, and the No. 3 prospect from the state of Oklahoma.

Back in March, Hester cut his list to ten. Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio State, Ole Miss, and Texas all made his cut.

But 247Sports' Crystal Ball Predictions currently have a clear favorite: Texas.

The Longhorns have been given top odds of landing him with 78-percent of the votes cast. Oklahoma comes in second with 11-percent.

Getting one of the top three prospects from the state of Oklahoma would be quite the coup for Tom Herman and the Longhorns. They haven't landed a top recruit from their arch-rival's state in several years.

Over the past two seasons at Booker T. Washington High School, Hester has caught 57 passes for 1,083 yards and ten touchdowns.

Will Javian Hester be heading to Texas?
