Mack Brown will reportedly show support for Tom Herman today.
Tom Herman is set to officially be introduced as Texas' head football coach later today and former Longhorns head coach Mack Brown will reportedly be in attendance. Herman was a graduate assistant at Texas under Brown early on in his career.
The news comes via Pete Thamel of Sports Illustrated:
This news come just one day after a bit of controversy and confusion of Brown not commenting on the Herman news. Brown is still technically an employee at Texas which explained why he was oddly silent.
It has been reported that Herman will sign a five-year deal worth more than $5 million per season with the Longhorns.
Herman's press conference is scheduled for 6 p.m. E.T. It will be broadcast live on The Longhorn Network.
