NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Met With Texas Coach Charlie Strong, Discussed Strong's Core Values

On Thursday, it was reported that the NFL wanted to meet with Texas coach Charlie Strong and discuss his commitment to his five core values. Strong has been a strict disciplinarian ever since he arrived in Austin, making him a great person to talk to if you want to discuss things like discipline and integrity.

According to a series of tweets sent out by former All-Pro defensive back and the NFL's Executive Vice President of Football Operations Troy Vincent, that meeting happened today, as Vincent and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell met with Strong.

It's been a rough few weeks for the NFL, as the league has come under fire for its handling of the Ray Rice domestic violence situation. Hopefully, Strong's five core values resonated with the league, and we start seeing changes in how it handles off-the-field situations.
