Report: Texas President Expected To Fire Athletic Director Steve Patterson

Earlier: Texas president Gregory L. Fenves is expected to fire athletic director Steve Patterson, according to a report by the Austin American-Statesman.

Patterson, who has been the Longhorns' AD for nearly two years, is meeting with Fenves this morning, according to the report.

Texas fans have been disappointed with a number of things during Patterson's tenure, including on-field performance, ticket prices and the overall perception of the program.
