It looks like the Texas Longhorns are going to have to go another week without starting quarterback David Ash. The signal-caller has battled head and shoulder injuries all season, and didn't play in the Longhorns' past two games against Iowa State and Oklahoma.
Texas was on a bye this past week, and the team was hoping to get Ash back for a matchup with TCU next Saturday. Unfortunately, that has been ruled out by the team's football trainer, Kenny Boyd:
In three games this season, Ash has thrown for 760 yards, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions. Texas will continue to go with Case McCoy while Ash recovers.
