Stephen Herron Jr., a five-star 2019 defensive end, is taking a big visit to Texas today.
Herron, Louisville, Kentucky native, is the No. 38 player in the class of 2019.
247Sports ranks him No. 4 among weakside defensive end and No. 1 in Kentucky for his class.
Earlier in the week, he dropped a loaded top 10: Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Stanford, Tennessee, and Texas.
He is in Austin today.
On top of his top 10, Herron also holds offers from Indiana, Louisville, Oregon, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, among many others.
According to 247Sports' crystal ball, Ohio State is the favorite to land Herron, with 78-percent of the predictions. Michigan received the remaining votes.
It's unclear if Herron is close to a decision. As a member of the class of 2019, that's probably not right around the corner. Still, Texas has a chance to make a huge impression today.
