Baylor visited Texas with a perfect record, but that changed as the final horn sounded.
Texas picked up a massive win at home over an unbeaten Baylor team on Saturday by a score of 35-34. Running back D'Onta Foreman carried the load for the Longhorns as he rushed for 250 yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries.
Baylor initially jumped ahead to a 7-0 lead, but the Longhorns answered right back on their first drive. The bears regained the lead midway through the third quarter and held it with less than a minute left in regulation.
With the Bears up 34-32, it all came down to Texas kicker Trent Domingue from 39 yards out:
Talk about a huge win for Charlie Strong. It's crazy how the mood of the fans can change after one big win:
Baylor falls to 6-1 on the season, and 3-1 in Big 12 play, while Texas improves to 4-4 (2-3). The loss drops the Bears from the ranks of the unbeatens. That full list:
- Boise State
- Western Michigan
Washington picked up a massive win on the road at Utah earlier on Saturday to remain unbeaten. Florida State plays host to Clemson on Saturday night looking to knock the Tigers off of that list. Boise State also has a tough test at Wyoming.
How many unbeaten teams will we have at night's end?
