Texas Commit Cecil Cherry Openly Recruiting Kyler Murray On Twitter

Wednesday, seemingly out of nowhere, Texas A&M quarterback commit Kyler Murray, a five-star recruit from the state of Texas, tweeted out a photo of a Texas Longhorns jersey with no explanation. The move has led many to believe that Murray, despite still being committed to the Aggies with just two weeks until National Signing Day, may be considering playing for another program. Longhorns commit Cecil Cherry looks to be attempting to take advantage of the situation.

Cherry, a four-star linebacker commit, has been tweeting at Murray Thursday morning, attempting to sell him on head coach Charlie Strong and the program. He thinks that Murray can help them win a national championship.

Will the last-minute push be enough to change Murray's mind? Is Texas quietly putting together an amazing 2015 class behind the scenes? We'll find out in just a few weeks.
