College football fans got a good laugh on Saturday evening before the Texas Longhorns took on the UCLA Bruins. Due to a mistake by Longhorns DT Desmond "Tank" Jackson, Texas had to kick off to start both halves.

It was something that you never see, and while it probably didn't directly cost the Longhorns the game, UCLA did end up winning, 20-17. Today, Jackson took to his Twitter and apologized for his error, saying that it will never happen again.

Kudos to Jackson for owning up to the mistake and taking full responsibility. Someone will certainly keep track of this, but we're willing to bet that Texas isn't going to kick off to star both halves again any time soon.
