Texas lost to Oklahoma State on Saturday night, falling to 6-2 on the season. The loss killed any small chance the Longhorns had of reaching the College Football Playoff.

However, the real fireworks took place on social media during and after the game. It started with former Texas linebacker and current ESPN analyst Emmanuel Acho being vocal on Twitter.

First, Acho tweeted out criticism of Tom Herman, who benched starting defensive backs Kris Boyd and Davante Davis for the first quarter due to disciplinary reasons.

Then, Acho appeared to possibly take a jab or two at Boyd, who had a rough night trying to contain Oklahoma State's Tylan Wallace, who went off for 10 receptions, 222 yards and two touchdowns. However, Acho did respond to someone who defended Boyd by saying he didn't explicitly call out anyone.

How did Boyd respond? Well, he called out Acho on Instagram, of course.

In doing so, he told the former Longhorn not to show up at the team facility.

Tom Herman is probably going to want to stop all of this and get it settled sooner rather than later. Having players and alums feuding on social media is never a good look.
