Texas LB Dalton Santos Announces He's Transferring For His Final Year Of Eligibility

Texas linebacker Dalton Santos announced this afternoon that he's transferring out of the Longhorns' program for his final year of eligibility. 

The 6-foot-3, 250-pound linebacker missed the 2015 season with an ankle injury and redshirted. He has played in 36 games and made nine starts during his career. 

Santos announced his decision on Twitter.

Santos has one year of eligibility left and will be able to play right away.
