Texas Screws Up Coin Toss, Elects To Kick After UCLA Deferred, Bruins Will Now Get Ball To Start Both Halves

Texas can't even do the coin flip correctly.

The Longhorns (1-1), coming off a blowout loss to BYU, are facing UCLA at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Bruins (2-0), won the coin toss and elected to defer to the second half. Texas' captains proceeded to elect to kick, meaning that UCLA will get the ball to start both halves.

This is a game the Longhorns are probably unlikely to win. Giving the supposed better team the ball once more than they should get it is not a good plan, Texas.

The game is currently being broadcast on FOX.
