After suffering a near upset against Kansas last Saturday, the Texas Longhorns will hit the road this weekend to take on the TCU Horned Frogs.

Texas nearly lost to Kansas in large part because of its defense. Carter Stanley threw for 310 yards and four touchdowns against Tom Herman's secondary.

Fortunately for the Longhorns, Sam Ehlinger led an impressive drive in the closing minutes to set up a game-winning field goal from Cameron Dicker.

Even though Texas was fortunate enough to get past Kansas, another performance like that this weekend could result in another loss.

TCU has lost back-to-back games, but both contests were on the road. This weekend the team will have home-field advantage.

Here are the details for the Texas-TCU game:

Game Time: 3:30 p.m. ET

Channel: FOX

Spread: Texas -1

Over/Under: 56.5

Announcers: Joe Davis, Brock Huard, Bruce Feldman

According to ESPN's Football Power Index, Texas has a 54.0 percent chance of defeating TCU.

If the Horned Frogs are going to pull off the upset on Saturday, dual-threat quarterback Max Duggan would have to put together an incredible performance. However, it's not impossible when you consider how much the Longhorns struggle on defense.

We'll see if Texas' defense bounces back this weekend against TCU.
