Things got pretty petty on the sidelines during last night's Texas-Missouri game at the Texas Bowl, and Tom Herman was very involved.

Tom Herman's Longhorns pulled out a 33-16 win over former Big 12-mate Missouri in the Texas Bowl at NRG Stadium in Houston.

One of the storylines heading into the game was whether it would be the last one at Mizzou for prolific quarterback Drew Lock, the FBS leader in touchdown passes this season with 44. Lock has openly discussed the possibility of leaving for the NFL, and the decision may hinge on Barry Odom's choice to replace Josh Heupel at offensive coordinator. Heupel took the head coaching job at UCF.

Whether or not he'll be back for 2018, Lock looked to pick up a big eighth win for the Tigers last night. After his lone touchdown throw of the game, he broke out a little touchdown dance that clearly caught the attention of the Longhorns.

Later in the game, after a big Texas score, Herman and some of his players including quarterback Sam Ehlinger mocked Lock's dance, to the disdain of Tiger fans.

Lock was asked about the mocking after the game, and he didn't seem too worried about it, giving the classic "...you must be doing something right" line.

He finished with 269 yards on 18-of-34 passing, with a touchdown and an interception. While some have derided Herman's antics as classless, clearly he did something right with his players down the stretch this season.

With Texas's first bowl win since the 2012 Alamo Bowl, and a top five recruiting class coming in, things are looking up for Herman's 'Horns.
