Tom Herman's wife Michelle posted a photo of the couple from Herman's last stint at Texas, where he was a graduate assistant.
On Saturday, Tom Herman became the head coach of the Texas Longhorns, shortly after the program officially fired Charlie Strong. The now-former Houston Cougars coach will reportedly be pulling in north of $5 million a year to lead the Longhorns back to prominence.
It isn't his first stop in Austin. Herman's second-ever coaching stop was at Texas, where he served as a graduate assistant from 1999-2000. From there, he climbed the ladder, eventually winning a national championship as Ohio State offensive coordinator in 2014, and then taking the head job at Houston.
Today, Herman's wife Michelle posted a photo of the two during that last stint in Austin. She refers to it as "where the dream began."
There have been a few old Herman Texas photos going around. On Saturday, ESPN's Darren Rovell tweeted out one of him riding in a parade with superstar running back Ricky Williams. Longhorn fans definitely hope the 'dream' continues for the Hermans with this second stop at Texas.
