Top 4-Star JUCO LB Announces Commitment

One of the top junior college linebackers in the country is off the board. Caleb Johnson is bound for Texas.

The four-star Murrieta (Calif.) Fullerton College product announced his commitment to the Longhorns tonight. Johnson chose the UT over Arkansas, Oregon and Colorado.

He was originally committed to Iowa State but reopened his recruitment in October.

Johnson is the No. 3 outside linebacker and No. 39 overall recruit in the junior college ranks, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings. Here is an updated look at Texas' 2019 recruiting haul.
