ESPN Screws Up Big 12 Tweet After NFL Draft

Someone at ESPN's stats and info department had a rough Thursday night.

The first round of the NFL Draft took place on Thursday night, and to be fair, it was a bit top-heavy when it comes to which conferences produced the most picks. The SEC, the Big Ten and the Pac-12 - three of the biggest powers in the sport - came in with 25 of the 32 picks. Throw in the ACC and you've got 29 of the 32.

The Big 12, meanwhile, came in with just one pick - Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes. But ESPN apparently forgot which conference the Red Raiders play in...

Mahomes was the second quarterback taken - and he went to the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 10 overall.

Yes, Oklahoma and Texas are the two most well-known programs in the league. But they aren't the only programs in the league, clearly.

ESPN, meanwhile, has deleted the tweet.
