There is only one five-star recruit in the Class of 2019 still uncommitted: RJ Hampton of Texas’ Little Elm High School. But he won’t remain uncommitted for very much longer.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, Hampton announced that he will be making his commitment live on ESPN’s Get Up! at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
247Sports rates Hampton as the No. 5 overall recruit in the country. He is the No. 2 combo guard in the country, and the No. 1 prospect from the state of Texas.
Back in April he announced that he would be choosing between Kansas, Memphis and Texas Tech.
I will be announcing my decision live on @GetUpESPN at 8:30 AM EST, tomorrow May 28th.

The experts at 247Sports are heavily tipping the Kansas Jayhawks as Hampton’s final destination. The 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions currently give him an 81-percent chance of joining Bill Self’s side.
As the final five-star recruit available, Hampton has the ability to completely change the forecast for the 2019-20 NCAA season.
Memphis is currently the No. 1 ranked recruiting class in the country, with Kentucky right behind it at No. 2.
Kansas and Texas Tech are ranked outside of the top ten, but both are seeking their first five-star recruit of this cycle.
Will Hampton join one of the 2019 super-classes, or will he give a Big 12 powerhouse a final boost?
We’ll find out for sure tomorrow.
