Another Power 5 head coach is on his way out today, according to multiple reports. Texas Tech is parting ways with Kliff Kingsbury.

Kingsbury has been in Lubbock for six seasons, compiling a 35-40 overall record. He reached three bowl games in six years.

Kingsbury has been on a number of hot seat lists recently, and FOX Sports' Bruce Feldman says an announcement regarding his firing is coming soon.

Texas Tech has announced a press conference for 3 p.m. ET ( 2 p.m. CT) today "regarding the future of the Red Raider football program." Phrasing like that is a dead giveaway that a change is imminent.

Kingsbury would be the second major conference coach to receive a pink slip today. UNC let go of Larry Fedora earlier after seven seasons in Chapel Hill.

Additionally, USC could elect to part ways with Clay Helton at some point today. The Trojans finished the season 5-7 and will miss a bowl game.

Stay tuned.
