Texas linebacker Malik Jefferson is turning pro.
The Longhorns’ defensive star revealed his decision with a video courtesy of The Players’ Tribune.
Jefferson led Texas in tackles this season with 110 (10 for loss), adding five quarterback hurries and four sacks.
He was named Big 12 Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year, first team All-Big 12 and second team All-American.

Texas finished the 2017 season with a 7-6 overall record, including a 33-16 win over Missouri in the Texas Bowl.
