Logan Holgorsen, son of West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen, received his first FBS offer this afternoon.
Holgorsen has received some interest from FBS teams to this point, but until today, was yet to receive an official offer.
According to 247Sports, which hasn't ranked the son of the Mountaineers head coach, schools like Nevada, Ohio, Purdue, and Toledo have shown interest.
West Virginia, as you'd expect, is also listed, though it has not offered. There's probably a fair chance that he will elect to play for his father as a preferred walk-on.
North Texas became the first FBS program to offer Logan Holgorsen.
UNT coach Seth Littrell coached alongside Dana Holgorsen at Texas Tech from 2005-2007.
One listed expert has already submitted a vote for Logan Holgorsen to wind up at West Virginia via 247's crystal ball. It will be interesting to see if he emerges as a bigger recruit. He is a member of the class of 2019, so he has plenty of time to draw more interest.
