Video: WVU's Kevin White Says He Did "Whatever He Wanted" Against SEC Teams Last Season

Update: Here's video from White's hot take on First Take.

Earlier: After this past season, it is hard to imagine any wide receiver going ahead of Alabama Heisman finalist Amari Cooper in the NFL Draft, but West Virginia breakout star Kevin White is making a strong push. After a fantastic 1,447 yard, 10 touchdown season in 2014, and an excellent NFL Draft Combine performance where he ran a 4.35 40 yard dash at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, many have White ahead of Cooper on their draft boards. Of course, there is a question of competition. Cooper put up superior stats as Alabama's only consistent target against the SEC every week.

On ESPN's First Take this morning, White was asked about facing top competition, and had a fantastic answer:

The stats don't lie, either. Against Cooper's Alabama squad in the 2014 season opener, White caught nine passes for 143 yards and a touchdown, and in the Autozone Liberty Bowl against Texas A&M, he caught seven balls for 129 yards and a touchdown. White may be a bit of a combine warrior, but his play on the field in 2014 was also top notch.
