A UConn Women's Commit Is Participating In The McDonald's All-American Game Dunk Contest

UConn women's commit dunks.

The annual McDonald's All-American Game dunk contest is tonight. There are players headed to a number of big schools participating.

There is also a young woman in the group: UConn commit Olivia Nelson-Ododo.

Nelson-Ododo stands 6-foot-5. She's trying to become the second woman to win the Mickey D's dunk contest, joining Candace Parker in 2004.

Former UConn star Breanna Stewart competed in the event in 2012, but did not win.

Here is Nelson-Ododo's first dunk. Pretty smooth.

We'll see if she has what it takes to bring home the hardware.

You can catch the event on ESPN2.
