Former UConn Star Andre Drummond Wore Sneakers With Names Of All 26 Newtown Victims Tonight

Class.

Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting, which claimed the lives of 26 people, most of whom were young children. In what can only be described as a classy move, former UConn center Andre Drummond, who now plays for the Detroit Pistons, honored the victims by writing each of their names on his sneakers for his game tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers. Drummond attended both high school and college in the state of Connecticut.

Drummond also announced that he'd be donating his jersey to the school.

Bravo, Andre.
