John Petty, 5-Star SF, Releases Top 5

Huntsville (Ala.) J.O. Johnson five-star small forward John Petty cut his list of schools down to a top five late Friday night.

The 6-foot-5, 180-pound Petty is down to UConn, Florida State, Kansas, Alabama and Kentucky.

John Petty is the No. 25 overall player in the 2017 class according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

He is considered a Kentucky lean. Eighty-eight percent of the predictions in his 247Sports Crystal Ball favor the Wildcats.
