Kevin Durant Listed The 5 Schools He Would Have Considered If He Didn't Choose Texas

During his one year at Texas, Kevin Durant was incredible. He averaged 25.8 points and 11.1 rebounds per game for the Longhorns, but could not lead his team to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament. Where would Durant have attended school if not for Texas? During a Twitter Q&A session this afternoon, Durant gave the five other schools that were in contention. The list includes many of the usual powers.

Durant was specifically asked about choosing the Longhorns over Duke:

North Carolina was a No. 1 seed that year, and would have been hard to beat with Durant. Duke and Louisville were six seeds, while Kentucky was an eight, and UConn missed the tournament. All could have certainly used Durant's services back in 2006-07. Things have definitely worked out for the reigning NBA MVP, though.
