This will be his last campus visit before making a commitment.

Shooting Guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes is set to visit Storrs this weekend. This will be his last visit to any campus before making an October 13 commitment.

Rathan-Mayes is the 40th overall player according to Scout.com and 25th according to Rivals.com. He would undoubtedly be the gem of a recruiting class that already features Top-100 shot-blocker Kentan Facey and point guard Terrence Samuel. That is, of course, if top overall recruit and Second-Coming-of-Christ (or so they say) Jabari Parker doesn't shock the world and commit to UConn. Rathan-Mayes has raved about Coach Kevin Ollie, saying it would be "special" if Ollie took over for Jim Calhoun.

This is the school's last chance to make an impression on a great prospect. Hurry the construction and get pretty UConn! It's time to attract some serious talent.
