Seed: For the upcoming 2014 NCAA Tournament, the Connecticut Huskies were given a 7-seed in the East-region. They are coached by Kevin Ollie and hail from the AAC.

Where: They will open play against Saint Joseph's in Buffalo on Thursday.
Why: UConn finished with a 12-6 record in the AAC, tied for third place with both SMU and and Memphis. The Huskies posted notable victories over Maryland, Indiana, Florida, Memphis (twice) and Cincinnati.
Ceiling: March Madness is all about guard play, and with Shabazz Napier and Ryan Boatright, the Huskies have plenty of it. That being said, UConn was not one of the elite teams in college basketball this year, so a Final Four run should not be expected by fans. But hey, it wasn't either in 2011.
