Georgetown Basketball: Georgetown Reveals Winning Court Design Contest Submission
Georgetown looked to the Hoya fan base for a new basketball court design, and 150 submissions later, they have chosen a winner. Submitted by former Georgetown swimming & diving team member Kevin Rieffel, here is the court that the Hoyas will be playing on at the Verizon Center this season.

The design isn't overly adventurous, but most notably features a kente cloth pattern in the lanes, similar to the design used on Georgetown's jerseys during the Allen Iverson era in the 1990s. Some of the runners-up were a bit more bold.
