Two of the best available transfers in college basketball are coming close to a decision. Sam and Joey Hauser have cut down their list to three programs.
Both brothers had a huge impact for Marquette this past season. Sam was second on the team in scoring with 14.9 points per game, meanwhile Joey finished third with 9.7 points per game.
While several teams would relish the opportunity to add two key players to their lineup, only three options remain on the table for Sam and Joey.
According to college hoops insider Jeff Goodman, the Hauser brothers are down to Michigan State, Virginia and Wisconsin.
The first visit Sam and Joey took was with the Badgers. Next up for the marquee transfers is a visit with the Cavaliers on Thursday and one with the Spartans next week.
All three suitors present great scenarios for the Hauser brothers.
Marquette transfers Sam and Joey Hauser told @Stadium they will visit Virginia on Thursday and moved the Michigan State visit to the May 14th. They have visited Wisconsin and will choose from those three schools.

Virginia is in need of reinforcements following their national title win. De’Andre Hunter, Kyle Guy and Ty Jerome all entered the NBA Draft.
Michigan State will bring back its best player in Cassius Winston for 2019, but it could benefit greatly from adding the Hauser brothers.
Lastly, Wisconsin has the coaching staff and history to entice players like Sam and Joey.
